Qualifications
• CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO LIVE ON SITE
• Hands on Maintenance Technician needed for 48 -unit apartment complex in Gardner, MA 01440
• Ideal candidate should be able to work well with existing property staff and engage with
Vendors/Contractors to complete projects in a timely and proficient manner.
Also, the Maintenance Technician must be resident-oriented with superb skills in dealing with residents, their families, and the public.
• The individual must have proven proficiency with basic painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
Individual must have good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work orders and be able to work under little supervision.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and be available for on-call
Responsibilities
• Will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds and any other duties as assigned by Property Manager
• Additionally, the onsite Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing direction and guidance working with third party contractors
• Clean vacant units, interior spaces, and grounds
• Ensures that vacant units are turned over in a timely fashion
• Grounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removal.
Property has a snow removal contractor, but Maintenance Technician is responsible for shoveling/snow blowing and keeping property SAFE during the winter months
• Paint building interiors and associated prep-work
• Miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• Appliance repairs
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• Change locks
• Maintain supplies and records
