POSITION SUMMARY
This Executive will report directly to the President & CEO, and will help bring leadership, expertise, and best practices to drive the strategic direction of the Credit Union’s Lending business.
As a member of Executive Management, the SVP of Lending will become an important “face” of the Organization and truly have an impact!
Provide strategic and operational oversight for the Lending organization.
Accountabilities include Residential, Auto (Indirect and Direct), Consumer, and Commercial (Real Estate and C&I) Lending.
Serve as the advisor to the CEO on all issues associated with Lending strategies, Credit Risk Management, and Collections.
Play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the Credit Union’s strategies and objectives.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BRING
Successful Lending performance record in Credit/Portfolio/Risk Management and Relationship Management.
Experience in Commercial, Consumer/Auto, and/or Residential Lending.
Positive energy, drive, and strategic focus.
Have a sense of urgency and ability to roll-up one’s sleeves to execute.
Possess a competitive mindset and challenge the status quo.
A minimum of seven to ten years of related experience, five of which should be in a managerial capacity in a credit union or other financial institution (or equivalent).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment with the ability to work from home in a hybrid capacity.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motions, extensive telephone use, frequent standing and walking, occasional driving, occasional bending and twisting at the wrist, occasional reaching above shoulder, and occasional pushing/pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds.
REQUIRED COMPLIANCE TRAINING
Satisfactorily completes all required compliance training and complies with all regulations, which apply within the scope of the position, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and all regulations that fall within the BSA.
