Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
- Provide information about rental rates, lease terms, and property amenities
- Process rental applications and perform background checks on applicants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Collect rent payments and handle tenant inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records of rental activity and tenant information
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software for lead tracking and follow-ups
Experience:
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing paperwork and administrative tasks
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills for maintaining accurate records and utilizing leasing software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of fair housing laws, leasing regulations, and contract negotiation is a plus
