Work Location: Marlborough, MA What you will be doing: As a studio photographer, you will use your photography skills and creativity to capture captivating lifestyle and product images, ensuring they are visually appealing and accurately represent the items.
Set up and arrange products, lighting, and backgrounds to build appealing compositions.
Use various photographic equipment, such as cameras, lenses, tripods, and lighting gear, to capture high-quality images.
Provide photography that showcases products, brands, and features.
Post-process images using photo editing software (e.
g.
, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to improve colors, adjust exposure, and retouch as needed.
Crop and resize images to meet specific size and format requirements for various platforms.
Maintain and clean photography equipment to ensure it functions accurately.
Troubleshoot and address any technical issues that may arise during shoots.
Collaborate with art directors, and marketing teams to understand their vision and specific image requirements.
Provide input and suggestions to improve the visual appeal of product images.
Coordinate and manage the workflow of multiple product shoots, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Maintain records of product images and ensure they are properly labeled and stored.
Review images to ensure they meet all quality standards.
Make vital adjustments to improve the overall quality of the images.
Provide clear direction to stylists, artists, and models during shooting to meet timelines and goals.
Stay updated with the latest photography techniques, equipment, and software to improve your skills and adapt to changing industry trends.
Skills needed to be successful in this role: Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently Solid understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree 5+ years professional photography experience Experience in Mac-based Adobe Creative Cloud Proven experience as a product photographer or in a related field Proficiency in using digital cameras, lighting equipment, and photo editing software Portfolio showcasing your product photography work Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Beauty industry experience Wondering if you should apply?
