Hi, My buddy and I have a bunch of three phase and single phase motors for sale.
There are perhaps 100 motors in total.
Many are vintage and most are used but they have been checked out and you can see them run.
He has also replaced bearings on many of them (says NB on the tag).
Many are for woodworking gear or metalworking but some folks have used them for pig roasters, drill presses, chicken pluckers, or other farm application.
They vary from 1/4 hp all the way up to 7.
5hp.
Some are 115v or 220v others 220v/440v and a couple are 550v.
As of now, the largest single phase motor he has is 3 hp.
You can see and hear them run.
To make it easier, I took photos of each motor with a tag on it and put them all on a google page.
Note that the pictures below are general photos and not necessarily those that we have still on the shelves.
Any that are on the google page are still available.
The tag on each includes a unique number (so you can tell me which motor you are interested in), the horsepower, voltage, rpm, phase, and price.
Anything with a NB in the corner has new bearings.
As a note, all motors with 115v must be single phase and all motors with ~440v must be three phase.
Note that as of now we will take 20% off the price for three phase motors lower than 5hp.
I will have to send you the link to check out the motors (sorry about the inconvenience).
I add photos to the page whenever we have new motors and this is the best way to tell what we have available.
By the way, the range in prices is from $15-$325 typically with totally enclosed fan cooled and single phase motors more expensive than their three phase counterparts.
I reply to all non-spam emails so if you email me and have not heard from me, please check your spam folder or include your phone number.
I will attempt email contact initially with phone followup.
If you mention the unique number in your email I can get more information about a given motor for you.
The motors include many manufacturers like Marathon, Baldor, Delta, Dayton, Rockwell, Westinghouse, General Electric, Taylor, Craftsman, Fulton, Leeson, Walker Turner, and others.
Some motors are open, others are drip proof, TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled), and a few are explosion proof (for use in areas with fumes etc.
).
Lastly - I stand behind the motors so if you have troubles with them (other than you wiring them incorrectly at home), I will be happy to repair or refund your money with no questions asked.
Thanks and have a great week.
